Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church Leadership
Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Elder Randy Waters
Pastor
Randy Waters grew up in Bulloch County, near Brooklet, attended UGA and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Resource Management. He is married to the former Penny Ann DeLoach. He has three daughters, three son-in-law’s, and eight grandchildren.
Randy was ordained into the Primitive Baptist Ministry at the Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church on November 13, 1997, after having received a call from the Lake Primitive Baptist as pastor. He served the Lake Church until July, 2005 and then began his ministry at the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church. He is currently serving the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church.
Personal comment from Bro. Randy: I love the Lord Jesus Christ and will never get over what He has done for me and to me. Preaching is the passion of my heart and serving God’s people is my greatest satisfaction. I am a Five-Point Calvinist, seeded deep in God’s sovereignty, and believe the gospel should be preached everywhere and all the time to exalt our Lord Jesus Christ.
